About the Press
A luminous archive, kept with care
Clear Castles Press exists to publish works that explore spiritual and multidimensional subjects with clarity, structure and respect for the reader.
The press was founded to give spiritually grounded educational material the production quality it deserves: careful editing, considered design, accurate print specification and honest description. Our list includes books, oracle decks, tarot decks, companion guidebooks and educational materials for spiritual study and practice.
Clear Castles Press begins by publishing the work of its founding author, with the intention of publishing selected works by other authors, artists and spiritual educators over time. Every project, whether internal or invited, moves through the same standards of review, revision and approval.
We hold that imaginative and mystical subjects are best served by rigour rather than vagueness. A deck should be printed to specification. A guidebook should be edited. A claim should be framed honestly. That is the difference we intend to be known for.
How the pieces relate
- Clear Castles Press
- The publisher. The press develops, edits, designs, prints and stewards the works in its catalog, and maintains the private Creator Studio where projects are produced.
- Diamond Owl
- The retail marketplace for the founding author's works. Purchasing happens there, not here. This site links to it whenever a publication is available. Visit Diamond Owl.
- Authors, Artists and Creators
- Creators whose work may be published through the press keep their credit and their voice. Their profiles live in Authors and Creators, and works by other creators may eventually be offered directly through the Crystalline Library.
Standards
- Structural and line editing before any file goes to print.
- Print specification review for trim, bleed, resolution and card stock.
- Versioned files with a clear record of which version was approved.
- Honest descriptions of what a work is and who it is for.
